Students from a partner U.S. institution can apply. Check with your home study abroad or disability resource office to confirm your eligibility and get started.

Visit UFIC Program Page
Click 'Apply Now'
Look for the application button - Blue button with white text "Apply Now"
Create Account or Log In
Set up your credentials if you're a new user

Program Options
Select 'Summer A 2026' as the program term.
Click 'Get Started!'
Follow the prompts and complete the online application.
Course Selection
Choose from the following (all course content are the same):
  • EGN 4932 for engineering undergraduate students
  • IDS 4956 for all other undergraduate students
  • EGN 6933 for graduate or professional student

Step 1 (continued): Additional (Offline) Documents Required
Home Institution Approval Form
Form should be completed by your Study Abroad Advisor at your home institution and emailed to [email protected]
Signature Verification Form
You can use an electronic signature for the application, but to verify your identity, you must submit a photocopy of your passport, driver’s license, or state-issued ID. Print and sign the signature card, then email a scanned full-sized PDF to [email protected].
Home Institution Official Transcript
You must submit an official transcript from your home institution to the UF International Center. Please send your official transcript to your Study Abroad Advisor at [email protected].

Step 2: Complete UF Non-Degree Application
Visit Portal
Select "First-time users"
Create an account to start a new application. Enter the information requested.
Login
A temporary PIN will be sent to your email address. Use the PIN to login.
This formal application establishes your student status at UF and enables course registration and payment processing.

Select "2026 Application Year →2026 Non-Degree Application → Create Application"

IMPORTANT: Follow the guidelines on the left to complete this section → Choose "Special Program: UF International Center - Study Abroad"
Complete the rest of the form
Complete the rest of the form and submit your application. Make a copy of your application confirmation and email it to UF Study Abroad Advisor: [email protected]
The Online Non-Degree Registration Request material will not appear completed on your application until it is processed by the University of Florida Registrar. This can take several weeks. Please be patient. This will not affect your application for the program.

UFIC and UF Registrar review your complete application package

UFID Assignment
Receive your University of Florida ID number (UFID) via confirmation email

Create UF Account
You will be prompted to create your UF Account. Your UF account will be used for course registration and invoicing.
